Guest BP3 Posted February 24, 2009 Posted February 24, 2009 Hello, everybody. I dug around for the older occurence of this thread, but since I could not find it quick enough to suit me, I decided to start another thread. Since I have something I think merits posting and listening, I'll begin. Below, you'll hear a set of bagatelles by Alexander Tcherepnin (1899-1977) for piano. One reason I share them is that they are each posessed of a winsome Russian character, not to mention the fact that the various movements are delightfully diverse. I had barrels of fun interpreting and recording them. I've also just uploaded the Debussy "Estampes" set, which includes a toccata and pieces with an oriental and Spanish flavor. Enjoy the crystal-clear quality of the marvelous studio and Yamaha I was privileged to use, and let me know what you think! https://secure.filesanywhere.com/fs/v.aspx?v=896c6b875a64737b6f66 Track No. 2-4 = Debussy Track No. 5ff = Tcherepnin Quote
