composerorganist Posted June 28, 2009 Posted June 28, 2009 I will speak entirely from musical standpoint - The quality of his early work had some very high points - when he was with the Jackson Five and working with Quincy Jones (by the way the strength of the compositions on Thriller is due in great part to Quincy Jones - that man is a fantastic producer/co-writer and a pretty good film/jazz composer). Michael jackson was a very good performer. As a person - extremely troubled. Quote
Guest thatguy Posted June 28, 2009 Posted June 28, 2009 Why is Chopin an admin? LOL What the hell kind of question is that? He has every right to voice his opinion. Just because you don't agree with him doesn't mean you can bash him in any way. Quote
nikolas Posted June 28, 2009 Posted June 28, 2009 why are you admin If this is a question: Because he owns the website, the webname and everything to do with YC, thank you. May MJ rest in peace if he can. It seems like a shock since he's a huge figure. Other than that, I can't really care if what they said was truthful or not, about peadophilic issues, about colour of the skin issues, about debts, about anything. I simply don't care. I like some of his songs and that's about it. Was never an idol of mine, and never will be. I never had an idol in all truth! Quote
SYS65 Posted June 28, 2009 Posted June 28, 2009 Web developmet, Host, Domain, Maintenance, those things cost. EDIT: Ups.. I was typing while nikolas posted that... Quote
nikolas Posted June 28, 2009 Posted June 28, 2009 Chopin: This might interest you: Evan Chandler “I Lied for my father, i’m sorry Michael” | Fresh News Now maybe for the remorse of his death Chandler decides to tell us the truth. ” I never meant to lie and destroy Michael Jackson but my father made me to tell only lies. Now i can’t tell Michael how much i’m sorry and if he will forgive me ”. What do you know... The story unfolds in different ways as one would like to think really! ;) (Then again Evan is still a bloody bastard for lying: He either was lying back in 93, or lying now. Whichever is the case he's a bastard!) Quote
OmarSanchez Posted June 28, 2009 Posted June 28, 2009 I was never a fan of MJ but never thought he molested little kids. Its just so sad that he died though....and its getting annoying. One whole newspaper about him, every channel has stories about him, Radio Stations, internet..... Did people forget about Ed McMahon and Farrah Faucet? Anyways, He was a good singer, I'll admit. I always passed by Neverland Ranch as a child, pretty nice place (I would buy it if I had the money XD)....At least he is resting now, though. Quote
MaestroMarvel Posted June 29, 2009 Posted June 29, 2009 I am not very influenced by pop music, like MJ specialized, but I remember when he was a figure to look up to. People abused his "naive" and "innocent" oddities, and they used the scandal to manipulate him and threaten him into giving them "quiet money". I strongly feel that he was innocent. With the initial confessions that the 1993 offense was fraud, I can't help but side with him. I feel for MJ. He never got to truly clear his name. May he rest in peace. Quote
Jazzooo Posted June 29, 2009 Posted June 29, 2009 Why would he continue to have kids sleep over when he'd been accused of molestation? Could be: 1. He knew he was innocent and enjoyed having kids sleep over, so he said "I don't care what people think." He lived his life the way he wanted to, as opposed to regular folk who worry about what people think of him all the time. or 2. He was the dumbest criminal in the world--when he knows everyone is watching him, he continually repeats the same crime over and over for another few years. I think Michael Jackson was a tortured and kind of freakish guy by my standards, but I think someone would have a hard time convincing the world that he was dumb. You don't accomplish what he accomplished by being dumb. Quote
chopin Posted June 29, 2009 Posted June 29, 2009 Don't get me wrong, I don't wish death on anyone, and death should always be up to the Almighty. But when it comes to children, I can't have any compassion here. You can potentially destroy a child's life and cause emotional problems. Just because he wasn't proven guilty doesn't mean he is innocent. And the converse is true, even if he was convicted, that doesn't mean he is guilty. Only MJ and his victims really know the truth. However, the fact that this got to a federal court not just once speaks for itself. Why would he continue to have kids sleep over when he'd been accused of molestation? Another reason is because he couldn't help himself, was powerful/wealthy and knew he could get away with it. Quote
OmarSanchez Posted June 29, 2009 Posted June 29, 2009 he loved children. he never got to enjoy his kids because his wife left him! Neverland ranch was made for his "kid" friends! He just wanted to have fun. But obviously some material people wanted his money. Quote
Mathieux Posted June 29, 2009 Posted June 29, 2009 i find it strangely suspicious that two famous people, both at the age of 50 are found dead even though they seemed they were in good health. Billy Mays, the loud speaking salesman seen in OxiClean and Orange Glow commercials, as well as the man in the new discovery series "Pitchmen" was found dead today by his wife. Quote
Mathieux Posted June 29, 2009 Posted June 29, 2009 If he was innocent, why would this man continue having sleepovers knowing he was susceptible to fraud like this? The first time he was accused was in 1993, and yet, he continued having sleepovers. Either he is really stupid, or really guilty. if he was a child molester, how come he was always around kids and only 1 out of 100 accused him of anything? Quote
OmarSanchez Posted June 29, 2009 Posted June 29, 2009 Really? Wow. What is with Celebrities dying lately? Quote
Tokkemon Posted June 29, 2009 Posted June 29, 2009 God must've had a fit this week. HAHAH! Indeed. Quote
