If I enter a piece, I enter a piece. If I don't, I don't - in which case I might judge. Don't know if I will or not, we'll see.

Winner of this competition gets a link to their piece featured on the Young Composers' Home Page for at least one month. (unless the winner opts out)

-- The composition must make use of the octotonic scale in SOME fashion, but it does not have to use the scale the whole composition

THE octotonic (diminished) scale, or ANY octotonic scale?

Here's my entry!!

For prepared piano -solo instrument (yes only piano), in a octatonic scale- (yes, is a common wood clasic acoustic upright piano).

It doesn't have any electronic modification, no recording modification no other modification that the preparation -put objets in their cords- (I post too an appendix with the nesecary information for prepare it and play it).

Remember, no electronic sounds and nothing like that, no effects no recording edition, only a common piano with objets in their cords.

Audio File (mp3) here!

I call it: "Acusmer #1"
