Hello.

I am here wondering what are your opinions on string quartets, being a composer of 4 myself within the last year. They are all symphonic in scope and music dramas of some sort. I will probably upload the midi files only, as the scores are too valuable to be made public here unless there is a way that I can disable the printing option on Adobe Acrobat for those who upload.

You can tell that I am paranoid about copyright thieves.

Not to mention that the slow movements of my quartets are really songs without words.

At the top of the box.net server, once you make an account, there is a tab titled "Open Box". In this tab are 'applications' you can add to your box account which have different functions. One of which is called "WatchDox" which allows you to control who prints/forwards/downloads your posted documents.

See.. there it is! Thanks.

Yeah umm... I'm not sure why you joined the forum then.. this is a music sharing site where people upload their music/share it and recieve feedback.. not go around boasting about pieces which they won't show. lol

Welcome to YC anyway, and trust me, no one's going to steal your quartets.

But wait. WatchDox seems to work only with emailing things to other people. Is there a way to make this apply to attachments too, or will I have to email this to the forum in some way?

Do not be offended at me just because I am business-savvy and discreet. I've learned too much from the life of Franz Schubert to go down the same road as he did, overly trusting of his "friends" (read:parasites) as he was.

Oh sweet jesus I hope you're joking. If not....man this country...this once great country. THis is what happens when you take dodgeball out of school and outlaw bullying, you get THIS!

Franz Schubert was an overweight nerd who died before he hit 30 and only had 700 pieces of music to show for it. Sounds like a pretty sorry life to me. I dunno about you, but I'm gonna throw it in as many broads as I can find before I hit 30, just sayin.

Dude, I LOOVsED your quartet.. especially the loud boisterous well construced climaxes best. And I loved the adagio as well, it was so beautiful.

What? I never uploaded a midi! I sincerely hope you're being sarcastic.
