Aylo Everyone. This is my first one, so the competition is on!

Our Judges are: Me, glass000, MusicFiend, and robinjessome

Our Competitors are: Gwaur, Jimmyjucin, and lawest12.

You know the rules. So here we go! The first combo of instruments is:

Percussion: bass drum, woodblock, crash cymbal

Contrabassoon

Alto Saxophone

C Trumpet

Remember: You MUST Include these instruments in your piece. Feel free to add more instruments.

You have 1 week. All pieces MUST be submitted by October 3rd. Whatever you have then is submitted.

Now, GO GO GO!!!!! ;)

don't have woodblock or contrabassoon...what should i use in their place?

I had to search a tad before i found my contrabasoon ~ everything was alphabetized and that was at the bottom of the list. WHY!

Are we allowed to post our work before the due date, or would that go against the rules because we would get feedback.

Just wondering.

Where will we submit. Is it in this thread?

I haven't found my crash symbol yet - if someone could point me in the right directions. Sibelius 5 they're probably staring me in the face, I see cymbals and no crash cymbals, i know there, there. GRRRRR!

In the mp3 version the bass drum is not so loud, sorry about the .midi version drums and alto sax. Listen to both midi and mp3. I'm still trying to work with the mp3 and whole virtual instrument thing.

By a unanimous vote, Jimmy won the first round!! Congrats!!

Sorry shalom. You have been eliminated from the competition.

NEXT ROUND:

Rules are the same. MusicFiend may be judging.

REQUIRED INSTRUMENTS: Electric guitar, timpani, an Asian flute (any is fine), Heckelphone
