Weca Posted November 12, 2009 Share Posted November 12, 2009 I have some MIDI orchestral tracks; right now they sound MIDIlicious but I figure with a sequencer I can make em sound a bit more human by slightly randomizing the note start times, etc. I would also like to control all the other MIDI variables (duration, velocity, pitch bend) and if it comes with any samples other than general MIDI, that'd be great too! I downloaded it and I can't even get MIDI files to play back audibly... something to do with how I'm routing the MIDI-out I guess... I just want something that will let me control velocities, durations, and pitch bends of individual MIDI notes. It's been said before, Cuckos Reaper is where it's at for free sequencing.I agree, but at the risk of being pedantic, REAPER isn't actually free: it's just shareware/trialware without any limitations.
