Ravel: menuet sur le nom Haydn

I am fairly new to the piano (this piece is well out of my ability really) but...I cannot do the lefthand stretch on bar 3 as my hands are way too small...

Generally, you arpeggiate the chord if your hand is to small. Try doing this with and without the pedal to see what sounds better.

How does that sound?

You could try to play the F# with the right hand and then the E with the left hand.

I think arpeggio sounds more impressionistic then the block chord. :D
