DJ Fatuus Posted January 20, 2010 Posted January 20, 2010 Schoenberg is the new Fux. New and improved... I think everyone knows my opinions about Fux by now. Hjalmar, how advanced do you mean? Do you know the grade/dimploma system? I don't know what other countries have. Quote
benxiwf Posted January 21, 2010 Posted January 21, 2010 If you have a good understanding of basic harmony, modern harmony by persichetti is good. Composing music by william russo is a more light but still modern book that has composing exercises and seems pretty valuable. Quote
