composerorganist Posted February 14, 2010 Posted February 14, 2010 Hey all - Just found this over at the soundclick site http://www.soundclick.com/bands/default.cfm?bandID=104962 What a great way to expose the composers you have featured in the past. Heard one of the works and it sounded pretty good. For the more experienced composers (nikolas, Marius, etc) highly recommended. Quote

jawoodruff Posted February 14, 2010 Posted February 14, 2010 Just an FYI as well: Hello Jason! YES, we *will* be taking submissions, but they will be *targeted.* We are going to ask composers next year to submit samples of their music online, either by website or .mp3/.pdf. Then, the composer that we choose will write a piece for our June concert next year 2011-2012, based on a chosen instrumentation and theme. I suggest you watch our website for this opportunity. We will also announce it via the American Composers Forum and American Music Center... This season is, of course, all booked up, and we will probably put up these announcements after the Summer. Best wishes to you, and good luck with your composing! Joseph I am a member of both these groups so when this is posted, I will post it up here so that way others can take advantage. Quote
