firsty_ferret Posted April 6, 2009 Posted April 6, 2009 originally improvised, but then later wrote down. Managed to get a performance at my godmother's daughter's christening, but arranged for organ. Lullaby for Abigail.pdf PDF Lullaby for Abigail Quote
Mr Lex. Posted April 8, 2009 Posted April 8, 2009 My first work written about 4 years ago... Not much I can really say, just sorta fiddling around with a few things. It's kinda embarrassing putting it up here but what the hell! ''Eclipse''.mid Quote
Schumann Posted April 12, 2009 Posted April 12, 2009 The very first thing I wrote was a little motif called "The Chicken" when I was say 8 years old. I put it into midi when I was 10 or so, and the file still exists. It's actually about seconds in length. I think I figured the chicken would become dinner anyway, so why continue? I might continue it. Chicken gets fed, chicken is happy, chicken is rampant, chicken gets picked, chicken struggles, chicken gets decapitated. :whistling: My first lengthy work? I've always written small phrases until but 5 or so years ago. I'm young, but that's no excuse. The Chicken.mid Quote
maianess Posted April 13, 2009 Posted April 13, 2009 Hoo-boy. I wrote this... three years ago, I do believe? I'd have even less training at that point than I do now, and I had just been playing with my crappy notation software, Noteworthy Composer, in that sort of plug-in-notes-and-see-what-sounds-okay way. The result was... this. I fancied it a madrigal. Written for SSA. It's... ridiculous. It amuses me greatly ^^ madrigal1.mid Quote
