Guest Anders Posted October 5, 2005 Posted October 5, 2005 You can't enter, the competition is full. Try the Christmas Carol Competition instead.
Marius Posted October 6, 2005 Posted October 6, 2005 Wow, I can't believe how blind people can be sometimes...The competition is CLOSED. That means, for the hard of hearing, that NO MORE CONTESTANTS CAN JOIN! :P  Sorry, I'm just finding it very annoying to have people trying to sign up and even being arrogant about it when we've very clearly said that no new competitors are allowed. Read people, READ the posts before replying...
Mike Posted October 6, 2005 Posted October 6, 2005 Maybe a quick edit of the topic title will get the message across. :)
Guest Anders Posted October 6, 2005 Posted October 6, 2005 Relax, there is still plenty of time. Eh.. Yeah.
Ryan Posted October 9, 2005 Posted October 9, 2005 Is it too late to join? I know it ends in 2 weeks but I think I can mangage.
Mike Posted October 10, 2005 Posted October 10, 2005 Entry to this competition is closed, and has been for some time. Click here to go to the Christmas Carol competition topic, which entries are still open for.
Guest Anders Posted October 17, 2005 Posted October 17, 2005 If you are finished, mail your piece to: Letehn@hotmail.com
Guest Anders Posted October 26, 2005 Posted October 26, 2005 3 DAYS LEFT! If you don't think you can finish, please PM me about it.
Guest cavatina Posted October 31, 2005 Posted October 31, 2005 Letehn, are you going to send the judges all of the final MIDIs?
Guest Anders Posted November 1, 2005 Posted November 1, 2005 Nope, Chopin has been generous enough to provide hosting space. You'll find further details in the PM that i will dispatch to all the judges in a couple of days. ()
Guest Anders Posted November 2, 2005 Posted November 2, 2005 I have not ret received these members' compositions: celticdemon714 ohreally tophue Coda New deadline: 10th of november. Make sure you have submitted by then, or i will cut you from the competition ;)
Guest Nickthoven Posted November 2, 2005 Posted November 2, 2005 Can I be a judge instead? ;) I'll do it well, I promise!
The Baroque Enthusiast Posted November 4, 2005 Posted November 4, 2005 Yea, I'm really sorry I had to drop out guys. A word of advice (which I have learned well from this episode): Deadline + Procrastination = Very Bad To all the contestants who submitted: congrats (on finishing on time) and good luck! :D

Wolf Posted November 6, 2005 Posted November 6, 2005 Letehn, Pagan by any chance? (Not generalizing by your country and this subject of course)
Guest Anders Posted November 6, 2005 Posted November 6, 2005 Haha! I leave for a day and another crazy Canadian comes along. :) But yes, you are rigth. I am a believer in Norse mythology. ;) Nickthoven: Thanks! :) Edit: Ahh.. These emoticons just pop out of nowhere! *pop* I swear! I cannot controll them!! :D Edit 2:*Cough* Edit 3: I will send off the submissions to chopin on thursday, if you were wondering.
spc1st Posted November 9, 2005 Posted November 9, 2005 Bah, you should be stricter with enforcing the deadline. By pushing it back, you are encouraging these lazy bums to procrastinate more in the future :D.
smallz Posted November 10, 2005 Posted November 10, 2005 Bah, you should be stricter with enforcing the deadline. By pushing it back, you are encouraging these lazy bums to procrastinate more in the future :P. My thoughts exactly! I was so excited to get the judging under way!
Guest Anders Posted November 10, 2005 Posted November 10, 2005 Will send the pieces out for hosting today. I've got much to do, though, so it'll probably be done around 21:00-22:00 (for those of you that can relate to my time zone). If Chopin replies quicly, i'll mail the judges by saturday/friday. Originally posted by smallzI was so excited to get the judging under way! Same here! It's a shame that so few people submitted though, i'll keep them scabless procrastinators in mind when it comes to future competitions.

Does that mean you'll shut us out of future? That wouldn't be fair. :P Its not even like I didn't write anything. I had 3 mvts (about 7 minutes in length) completed: its just that I didn't feel comfortable even handing in that without the rest!
Guest Anders Posted November 10, 2005 Posted November 10, 2005 I was kidding. :P The submissions are on their way to chopin for hosting now.
Matusleo Posted November 11, 2005 Posted November 11, 2005 I'd be interested in leanring who has submitted.
