Jeremiah Hong Posted June 5, 2006 Posted June 5, 2006 Requirements: A notation program, imagination, and a slightly, dirty mind! Rules: This game is very complicated, so I won't be surprised if nobody participates. First, I will give you an accompaniment with four phrases. Your job is to create a melody that harmonically fits with a phrase, and post the melody and the accompaniment of the phrase(you have to go in order). You must also create lyrics that go with your melody and post it(post the lyrics and the melody/accompaniment separatly). When four people post their lyrics/melody/accompaniment, I will copy and paste the four phrases to form a single short song. More rules: The lyrics must rhyme in AABB pattern(so if one person starts the first phrase, the second person must have the second phrase rhyme with the first phrase; the third person starts a new phrase, the fourth person must have the last phrase rhyme with the third phrase. Also, the lyrics can't be random: If someone starts the first phrase ,"I like ice cream, how about you", the second phrase shouldn't be,"I need scissors, paper, and glue." And one more thing, the lyrics must match syllable to rythym. If I have six notes in my first phrase, I should have six syllables in my lyrics. I'll go first. Use it as an example: Trumpet, oboe and strings Mvt 1.mid This is the accompaniment with four phrases. This is my melody/accompaniment: ct.MID And here are my lyrics: "Sally Joe, the farmer, would watch in pain each year," Remember, the next phrase has to do something with my first phrase.
