Three proposed site features

Featured Replies

Feature one:

Is it possible to make some sort of way to display the "Manage Watched Topics" and/or "Manage Watched Forums" page easily accessible? Perhaps a link from the "Watched Content" tool on the forum page.

The problem is two-fold: 1- the tool on the forum page will very often miss new posts. 2- the "Watched Content" table when displaying all watched threads will display them in a completely random order, so one must scroll through them all to find one. Perhaps this link could replace the "Toggle all with no new" button.

Feature two:

A table/list of the last five or ten posts in the entire forum. I've seen this in another forum, and I kinda liked it for its usefulness. I see a tool for the last five topics, which I believe is glitchy, by the way, as it oft times misses topics.

EDIT:

Thank you, Imp, for pointing out that the "View New Content" link does just that.

Feature three:

A feature display of five or so randomly selected uploads. There are a ton of old uploads that are fantastic but have been buried by time. So how about a table on the home page that features a handful of random uploads, refreshed daily? Of course, I wouldn't think of having a person do this. Would it be possible to have it automated?

Thanks!

For feature two couldn't you just use the active content page? http://forum.youngcomposers.com/index.php?app=core&module=search&do=active

What I use is the watch forum option. What this does is give me an email with all the new topics replies for the forums of my choice. Talk to me and I'll help you set it up if you need it.

We used to have such an option on the old forum. I like this idea - we will see what we can do on it.

I'dd like to have a flood-prevention device added. that makes it impossible to add more than 3 movement placeholders in 2 hours, or so

Do you mean more than 3 individual pieces? Or 1 piece with more than 3 movements?
