Bugs, dunno if I've mentioned them.

1) clicking on "playlist" on anyone ELSE'S profile will bring up MY playlist.

2) anytime you go to edit the post of an uploaded work thread, the codes don't transfer to the board (e.g. smilies, fonts, colors, etc.)

Looking at the two, I think the problem is:

When we had this problem last week, Chopin used a backup of the files to fix the issue. My guess is that those files that our experiencing this were -somehow- not on the backup (probably cause a new backup wasn't made - i'm noticing that both of these examples were uploaded within the week that we had this problem originally. Only suggestion I can make is perhaps to just delete the upload and reupload - unless, of course, Mike is able to fix this.

You don't even have to delete the files, you can just reupload the media to fix the problem. Sorry about the loss, but please be aware that YC is not a hosting service, so you should always have backups of your music. I will work to resolve any problems with uploads, and why some uploads go disappearing.

Yes, but they have tried to reupload to those threads and they get these messages:

<br /> <b>Warning</b>: chmod() [<a href='function.chmod'>function.chmod</a>]: No such file or directory in <b>/home/yc/public_html/savemusic.php</b> on line <b>172</b><br />

Well, whenever I've been off for more than 24 hours, when I come back on the site, it says I'm logged in, but when I go to a thread and click on a link to hear the piece, it says "You cannot view this unless you are logged in", and it takes me to the login page. So, I log in, and end up on the home page on both screens, logged out. Then I have to click out, log in, go back to the thread, and then click on the link again before I can see the piece.

Please fix!

I agree, that's an annoying one - but easy to deal with - just relog. I think though the annoying part to it... is that when you re-log in, it doesn't take you to the link you clicked but instead to the network homepage. THAT is what is annoying.

Also, I'm still getting file not found errors on a few of my pieces. Fire and Ice, my most recent, being one of them.

I'm still waiting on the check mark for "Remember" being UNchecked by default...

Not a fan of going to internet cafes and seeing my login information stored on it just because I hit enter without thinking about it after typing my password. I don't like having to clear the cache of someone else's computer.

And yeah, I noticed Heckel's bug a long time ago, too. It's not the worst thing in the world, but it is quite odd.

EDIT:

by the way, the problem in the original post was never fixed. It was fixed for normal forum pages. But some others escaped fixing. Like profile pages are still wacky.

On deletion of a movement: mod/sticky_widgets/music/actions/delete_movement.php gets an error (this was from the test file i uploaded to test the File Not Found error.) i don't have the exact error, but it was a function that required an object not getting an object.

File not found error may have to do with javascript errors on uploading?

Hello; I'm having trouble updating some of the details on the "Edit Profile" page. Have others experienced this problem as well? In particular, the display options (Public, Private, etc.) dropdown menus and the birthdate field and calendar seem to be non-functioning. I experienced this problem while trying to change the privacy setting for my birthdate; clicking on the calendar then saving seems to advance the date by one day. The text field itself cannot be edited. There seems to be similar problems with the "Global Privacy" and "Profile Privacy" pages where the updated settings will not save.

My birthday started as the 7th, it was then changed to the 8th and it is now the 9th. lol

Also, a lot of music I go back to listen to has the "file not found" error.. is this still not fixed? :/ It first happened on the 12th of December and that same day, we were told scores and pdfs would be "restored shortly"..
