Arfus Posted November 6, 2010 Posted November 6, 2010 Is it hard to learn how to play on it? is it enough with the logic pro pack studio? is there evrything i need in logic studio? Quote
bryla Posted November 6, 2010 Posted November 6, 2010 A midi-keyboard is just like any other keyboard. Logic doesn't play itself. You can provide it with grooves and loops, and you can draw in your notes, but playing them on a keyboard is definately the easiest way. Quote
John Axon Posted November 6, 2010 Posted November 6, 2010 Bryla's spot on. Theoretically, you could input all your notes without a keyboard, but then you have to phrase them properly, and adjust velocity's correctly. In the end, you can't get a human expression without midi keyboard. -John Quote
PhantomOftheOpera Posted November 6, 2010 Posted November 6, 2010 Arfus, midi keyboard is just like any other keyboard, and very similar to piano... playing it wont come any easier just because it's midi. You could say that logic with it's core library will have all that you need to get you started. I've seen you ask all kinds of questions about composing here, and I have one word of advice to you. Just get on it. Asking questions will get you nowhere. Just try it out, take some piano lessons, find a teacher, listen to music etc. Skill is not going to come by itself if you don't do something about it, and just asking questions is not enough. Quote
