Daniel Posted November 7, 2010 Posted November 7, 2010 Hey guys, This is a little project I've cooked up, which basically boils down to Trumpet solo piece Lots of trumpet players all over the world Collaborative performance winsauce All the info is HERE. Please help me out by contributing. In return you'll get credited, linkage, and aura of awesomeness +1 betowed upon you by Princess Leia. Forward this to any trumpet players you think would be interested. All you need to record is 5 seconds......or 20 seconds..... or whatever you want. THANKS! :D (p.s., I realise parts of it are super crazy hard, but I'm hoping to convince a few awesome players to jump on board) Quote
Peter_W. Posted November 11, 2010 Posted November 11, 2010 You're asking for a double C at the end? Apart from that, it's not that hard. But I'm wondering how this composition sounds. Is there really only one part? Quote
Daniel Posted November 17, 2010 Author Posted November 17, 2010 Double C indeed! I wouldn't write something so crazy except I have a few exceptional players on board who will take care of it no problem. To hear how it sounds, just play it! And yes, only one part - a true solo piece. I might attempt one with multiple parts next time, which might be more fun, but I wanted to see if the idea worked at all. Looking forward to hearing any contributions, guys! (I myself will probably record a bar or two on my nice new Buescher Aristocrat... :) ) Quote
Daniel Posted December 2, 2010 Author Posted December 2, 2010 We've now passed 100 downloads of the sheet music! Has anyone made any progress with this? Looking forward to hearing the first submissions very soon! Quote
Daniel Posted December 6, 2010 Author Posted December 6, 2010 Exciting news! Malcolm McNab has agreed to give this project a try! For many players, this might be your only chance to be in the same recording as Malcolm (definitely for me :-p) so get cracking! Quote
