Mike Posted June 23, 2006 Posted June 23, 2006 If you want we can re-open the Collaborative Works forum and organise this officially, much like the competitions are done. We could maintain a list of participants in the initial post, possibly also deciding who was going to write what, and each participant could update the others on their progress as they completed a section or whatever. How does that sound? Quote
Guest CreationArtist Posted June 23, 2006 Posted June 23, 2006 Okay it's my turn.. I'll post again when I am finished. Quote
Mitchell Posted June 23, 2006 Posted June 23, 2006 That sounds great!! Just keep my intro. I like it a lot. Quote
Guest CreationArtist Posted June 23, 2006 Posted June 23, 2006 Want to know if you could attach the .mus so I can add to it. Quote
Guest CreationArtist Posted June 23, 2006 Posted June 23, 2006 You can get Finale Notepad you can just download it.. We may have to start over.. we can't work with a midi, we'd have to redo it into Notepad. I don't know if there's any other way.... If not, want me to just go first you can go after me I guess, while you get Finale ... we should've established the program to write with beforehand, I'm sorry. Quote
Mitchell Posted June 23, 2006 Posted June 23, 2006 =\ I though Finale coul open MIDI's as a score. =\ Well that sucks Quote
Guest CreationArtist Posted June 23, 2006 Posted June 23, 2006 So what do you want to do.. I'll be first, you can be second then the next person, etc.. with notepad? I just want to be sure we're all on the same page now so we have no more mistakes.. we're going to be using notepad, is that correct? Quote
Mitchell Posted June 23, 2006 Posted June 23, 2006 I don't get Finale. It confuses me. But I can try to rewrite what I already have with it. Quote
Guest CreationArtist Posted June 23, 2006 Posted June 23, 2006 Do you have Finale Notepad downloaded? Quote
Guest CreationArtist Posted June 23, 2006 Posted June 23, 2006 I can go first which would give you time to read help and get used to it.. it shouldn't be that difficult and then you can go next being familiar with the program if you'd like. Quote
Mitchell Posted June 23, 2006 Posted June 23, 2006 Okay, I s'pose. What I have is a lot of whole notes and half notes, so it wouldn't be too ahrd to rewrite it actually. Quote
Mitchell Posted June 23, 2006 Posted June 23, 2006 Nah, don't worry, I got it figured out basically. Quote
Guest CreationArtist Posted June 23, 2006 Posted June 23, 2006 I can't wait to get started  Quote
Guest CreationArtist Posted June 23, 2006 Posted June 23, 2006 Come on Mitch .. we're waiting on you! Quote
Mitchell Posted June 23, 2006 Posted June 23, 2006 I'm really slow. Be patient. How do I make chords. In advance. Quote
Guest CreationArtist Posted June 23, 2006 Posted June 23, 2006 Allow me to, in the meantime, listen to my inspirational music sans lyric. Quote
Mitchell Posted June 23, 2006 Posted June 23, 2006 But I'm almost done! Don't you go writing something while I spent all this effort on 8 mesures!! Quote
Mitchell Posted June 23, 2006 Posted June 23, 2006 There. I'm done! It's not exactly the same, but WHO CARES I'm finally done. :) ViolaPiano.MUS Quote
Guest CreationArtist Posted June 23, 2006 Posted June 23, 2006 I don't think there is another piece of music in the world as non-harmonic :) lol.. I never said it wasn't good, but it's not pleasing to the ear if you know what I mean.. I will see what I can add. Quote
Mitchell Posted June 23, 2006 Posted June 23, 2006 Yeah shut up, add what you like. It should be faster cuz I only wrote that as an intro. Quote
Mitchell Posted June 23, 2006 Posted June 23, 2006 Plus I like that, change some of it if you like, I don't care, but don't like change everything. I made that up on my saxophone and I was dying to get it on paper! Quote
