Peter_W. Posted January 22, 2011 Posted January 22, 2011 New topic. How do I print two copies of one item onto a double-up paper? Quote
Tokkemon Posted January 22, 2011 Posted January 22, 2011 Do you mean like a booklet format? This is where two pages are printed onto one sheet next to each other (and sometimes ordered in such a way that when folded down the middle creates a "book" format). Quote
Peter_W. Posted January 22, 2011 Author Posted January 22, 2011 Yes. But what I need specifically is how to print 2 copies of a 1 page document onto one sheet. Quote
Tokkemon Posted January 22, 2011 Posted January 22, 2011 Ohhh. Idk if you can do that directly in finale/sibby. The best way I would think is to print it as a PDF and see what you can get in Adobe Reader/Acrobat. Quote
Peter_W. Posted January 22, 2011 Author Posted January 22, 2011 I tried and failed. >_<" That's why I need help! ;D I know Finale/Sib can't do it. Tried Acrobat and failed there too... Quote
Tokkemon Posted January 22, 2011 Posted January 22, 2011 Best way I could think is to print that page you want doubled as a PDF, one single page. Then, make another copy of it. Then merge the two PDFs together so you have two pages of identical. I use PDF Split and Merge for tasks like these: http://www.pdfsam.org/ Then print the new document as a PDF in Reader again as booklet style. Its cumbersome but it gets the job done. Quote
Peter_W. Posted January 22, 2011 Author Posted January 22, 2011 Yeah, primoPDF can append documents, so I can skip one of those steps. *sigh* That'll work. Thanks. :) Quote
Black Orpheus Posted January 22, 2011 Posted January 22, 2011 Argh, again with the terms. I've never heard of double-up paper, although you can double up on a piece of paper :P Anyway, this is definitely not a Finale issue. I guess the question is do you want two pages on one side of a sheet while the sheet is in landscape or portrait orientation? You can do either easily enough with PrimoPDF. Or in your printer settings. Quote
Peter_W. Posted January 23, 2011 Author Posted January 23, 2011  Hokay, yew totally confused me. x_x Tokke's suggestion yielded the proper results, though, so I'm good. I think. Quote
