Arfus Posted January 30, 2011 Author Posted January 30, 2011 Hey! Is it possible to get Techno sounds with the keyboard? Like in the Scooters song? Anyone? Can anyone tell me if this is possible? Is it how the Djs make theire songs? or just using software like Fruity loops? Quote
bryla Posted January 30, 2011 Posted January 30, 2011 hey Arfus: Do you have a keyboard? Do you have Fruity Loops? If any of these questions are answered yes, then try to play some songs, and record your songs. Quote
Kamen Posted January 30, 2011 Posted January 30, 2011 Yes. Also, most DJs tend to use software like FL Studio. Quote
JairCrawford Posted March 20, 2011 Posted March 20, 2011 It depends. Does your keyboard have an on-board sequencer? If so, then the answer is, yes, you can make techno music with a keyboard. And by that I mean, just the keyboard, alone. Quote
John Carey Posted March 26, 2011 Posted March 26, 2011 I've written quite a bit of techno on a keyboard. I've used a Korg Triton workstation as a stand-alone instrument/sequencer, and I've done quite a bit with Logic and any keyboard I happen to have sitting around. Both Logic and the Korg Triton are rather expensive, so you should probably hold off on getting those until you know you'll be able to put them to good use. But to answer your question, yes, to my knowledge techno is generally always played on keyboards. But, if your keyboard doesn't double as a sequencer then you'll need some other software to record your music. Quote
