reverie Posted July 7, 2011 Posted July 7, 2011 Hey guys! I have an audio where theres only vocals and nothing else. I need someone who can play the piano to write the piano chords on it! If you're down, let me know by pm'ing me. It'll be cool! Quote
reverie Posted July 8, 2011 Author Posted July 8, 2011 I know piano a bit, I just don't trust myself with it :D It's better if someone who knows better than me to help me out, right? You scare me by the way. One doesn't need to know how to play the piano well, to be able to tap out a few chords. Now would probably be a good time to gain a little piano proficiency  Quote
reverie Posted July 9, 2011 Author Posted July 9, 2011 You must be referring to Mr. Persichetti? Definitely the handsome devil  I think you would have better luck attempting to find the chords yourself and then posting what you have up here so we can help in making corrections. If your clearly not making an effort yourself, why should we make an effort for you? As well as this: harmony can be set to a melody in numerous different ways. If you at least attempt to do it yourself, we'd have an idea of what kind of mood you are going for, and help you out there. Yes ;) Okay I actually have. But it sounded pretty basic and simple.. and not interesting.. So that's why I asked here. I try every time but it ends up being just basic and "Cheery". i want more deep and emotional chords but Idk ... i just cant do it I guess. I'll send it to you and you'll see ,okay? Quote
DiamondSoul Posted July 16, 2011 Posted July 16, 2011 I'm a pianist, and I'd be happy to give this a shot. Quote
benjaminkovacs Posted August 6, 2011 Posted August 6, 2011 I'm playing a Yamaha piano and a beautiful voice and beautiful sound, it's really good at tilting: D They all recommend it for Yamaha. Quote
Morivou Posted August 6, 2011 Posted August 6, 2011 Yes ;) Okay I actually have. But it sounded pretty basic and simple.. and not interesting.. So that's why I asked here. Then post your chords and we'll help you modify them to be more interesting, then you can take that knowledge and make more pieces with these interesting chords. haha. We won't do the work for you, but we'll definitely provide guidance and support in the way of knowledge. Trust me... my LIFE is spent trying to harmonize melodies with other than functional root movement (which, btw, can be VERY effective). Quote
