Hello all,

I wasn't here for a long time... I need your help now :)

I'm working on an electronic work, and I have a long note.. I would like to make a glissando on it. Do you know any programs, which are able to do this? I downloaded 4 programs, and nothing :(

I hope you can help :)

Cheers,

no. I just have prerecorded things, I will do some effects with them and then cut the whole piece (which will be only accompaniment). I need to do two things: a long note and glissando up and down, up and down etc... and a long note starts for example on E, starts to slide to G and stops at G. These are my problems :)

Hey, welcome back :)

Well Sibelius 5 and 6 both work for that. I write glissandos sometimes, and though it's not so... great, it gets that sound. I know finale doesn't work for them (at least 2004-2006) all that well. I can tell you how to get sib 5 and 6 to play glisses.

well as I know, sibelius works only with it's midi too, not? I think you misunderstood me, I have a recording (for example a car's sound for 30 secs) and I want to make a glissando with it. So I think notation programs won't work, because it's not an instrument or something like. I work with prerecorded stuff, so I need something like a mixer program. I just don't know any mixer programs :)

Sorry, my English is not that good :)

OH no it wasn't your english, it's my un-technical mind. lol... well car sounds... I don't know. I only write for instruments, sometimes with electronic sounds... so yea....
