WolfgangSachs Posted April 6, 2012 Posted April 6, 2012 Hello, I am a Finale 2009 user. Copying a 19th century manuscript I come across several bars who have a g in the base staff but an f written in the g staff. Of course I could solve this by changing keys and just simply put a G-key in front of these bars in the baseline but that is not an option. The idea is to render the typed out version as close as possible to the original one, hence I need to copy the notes as they are written in the manuscript. Therefore my question: how do I proceed to drag the notes from the base staff to the g-staff? Thank you all for your help W.S. Quote
jrcramer Posted April 7, 2012 Posted April 7, 2012 Note mover tool: http://www.finalemusic.com/UserManuals/Finale2012Mac/Content/Finale/ID_MAINTOOL_NOTEMOVER.htm Afterward you should use the Reverse Stem tool to flip some of the notes to a more appealing position. But it's quite easy when you've figured it out Quote
