Hi, guys!!

I'm writing a piece for french horn and prepared piano.

And I want to tune french horn a quarter tone lower than normal for an entire movement.

I don't want to use specific fingering for each and every note.

And I know that scordatura is usually used for strings.

But would there be a way to achieve the microtonal tuning?

I'd think, it won't be so complicated actually. But I'm not a horn player.....

And instruments don't always work, as you think they would.

Please, share ideas with me, horn players, composers and everyone who's got something say to this!!!

wehehehe i do it for you any time lol. In fact its not hard to play quarter tone lower on a french horn....the hard thing is to play in tune :D believe me dude...every rehearsal is a NIGHTMARE for horn players....i know it from experience :D
