muhmuhmuhmusic Posted November 20, 2012 Posted November 20, 2012 I'm soon to send in a portfolio for a pre-audition requirement on college auditions. Would it be acceptable to just staple the printed copies together and send them, or would it be better have the scores bound and look performance-ready? It does not seem to specify in any of the explanation just how professional it should look. Thanx for the help. Quote
Austenite Posted November 21, 2012 Posted November 21, 2012 In this kind of cases, it's better to err on the side of cautiousness. The more professional-looking and performance-ready, the better. Quote
June Posted November 21, 2012 Posted November 21, 2012 Absolutely bound scores in this case. I got into a conservatory with unbound scores, but that was a while ago. :) At this point, there's no question that submitting bound scores will help you level the playing field and not be rejected for silly cosmetic reasons. It's worth it! Quote
