Marcus2 Posted November 21, 2012 Posted November 21, 2012 I have recently completed a revamped keyboard sonata originally composed by the 18th century Spanish composer Antonio Soler. The sonata is in MIDI format, and I'm wondering if any of you guys know if this kind of composition can possibly be submitted to kunstderfuge.com, which is a site that deals with classical compositions in audio format. You see, the sonata is mostly the work of Soler, and I copied most of the music from free sheet music written by the original composer, and I merely edited and added parts to the work. So, if it is possible to upload this kind of work to that website, how should I go about doing it? If it is not possible, where would be the best website I could go about sharing it? Quote
Marcus2 Posted November 22, 2012 Author Posted November 22, 2012 So you're saying maybe Kunstderfuge.com isn't a good choice for submitting this kind of work? Quote
Marcus2 Posted November 29, 2012 Author Posted November 29, 2012 My goodness, is it really that much of a mystery whether or not an edited/arranged work by an 18th century composer is acceptable for submission to Kunstderfuge.com? Quote
xrsbit Posted November 30, 2012 Posted November 30, 2012 I'd guess nobody even knows what that site is. 1 Quote
Marcus2 Posted November 30, 2012 Author Posted November 30, 2012 OK. Yeah, I got the same kind of answer from another member (I can't disclose his/her name) whom I sent a private message to. So I guess I'll have to investigate the matter elsewhere. :( Quote
