Emmanuel Kyei Kaning Posted July 3, 2013 Posted July 3, 2013 I am new to this forum. I am here specifically to find an individual who would be willing to make a small sound track for an online rpg. As my budget isn't huge I'm not expecting anything but, the game is pirate themed. We are looking for original compositions only. Here is a little background on the story; "The Creator decided to share the Earth with his two offspring. To his son, Sol he gave the Land.Whilst his daughter, Selene received the oceans. He believed this decision to be reasonable as control of the planet should not be held within the hands of one person. Against his wishes the two began to quarrel and fight for each others power. The Creator angry and irate decided to strip them of their powers. He sealed Sol and Selene into the sun and moon. Their powers were kept within A great book. The Creators Archive, the book was then sealed within the earth. Never to surface again." -Fast forward to the future- Those were the Fables we were told as children. With the governments oppression many have turned to piracy to be free from the laws of the governments tyranny. The world is now at war, both sides struggle to find a way to tilt the battle in their favor. While others have turned to the power of fables.... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The game would need loop-able music for each of these areas; General boss music nothing techno think fantasy boss. Deserty Arabic Style theme Tropical Island Royal Military Base Island(Royal trumpet sound) Snow Covered Island Under Water City Caves An Island in the shape of Skull An Island consisting of clowns An island consisting of toys (nutcracker-esque theme) A Japanese themed island A Volcanic Island A Swampy Island A Tavern Theme Sailing Music(A Calm Relaxed sailing theme) Darker Sailing Music (A deeper more intense horror-esque sailing theme that presents the feeling of eminent danger) A heavenly Theme A light "hearted" open town Fantasy theme something similar to the first song in this video A song with a Celtic feel to it. The opening theme However does not need to loop. We are looking for something more like this That kind of feel/Style. You can contact me on our youtube channel http://www.youtube.com/user/ROTPVideo We can discuss pricing, song length etc... This is a paid opportunity. Quote

Jon Traviosso Posted July 3, 2013 Posted July 3, 2013 (edited) Hey there, Emmanuel! Welcome to the forums! My main participation in the musical community is in piano teaching, but over the last few years I've delved into composing a variety of styles from electronic to orchestral to video game music. I won't exaggerate and say I'm a professional game/film composer, but I'd love to learn new things and gain experience in a collaboration situation and devote myself to making quality music for your RPG. I'd be thrilled to get the opportunity to help you realize your vision of this Pirate game through the use of an effective mood-setting score! You can check out a few of my works done on software here: My email is: jason_mr.47@hotmail.com In case you to not see this reply, I'll also message you on YouTube. In terms of my fee expectations, I'm honestly looking more to receive credit and get experience than to make a lot of money. Anyway, I hope you consider and good luck developing your RPG! Are you still looking for a composer to do the job, or have you already found one? I'm just wondering because there have only been two replies to this post, and if you've already found someone for the job, I will not be expecting a reply any longer. Thanks, Jason Edited July 5, 2013 by JasonSomethi Ng Quote
