Score Order With Vocals?

Hey guys--

Trying to write a piece of music with a full jazz band + solo and harmonic vocal parts. Where would I put the voice parts in relation to the others in the score? 

I guess the vocal line should go right above the piano / keyboard, provided that you're using one.

Yep!  Vocalists usually get all the vocal parts above an orchestra reduction/piano part/whatever.  Whatever the instruments are, they are generally condensed onto two or three staffs for the vocal score.  

BTW, Liz - it's always nice to have you around! Especially since not a lot of people is actually around lately.
