Nope.  Lots of time performing music, but no composition study.  I managed to audit a little bit of music theory one semester, but not the whole course.  I study scores I like, slowly plow through some theory books, and I pick up a lot through osmosis on this site.  (:

I'm getting my third degree (doctorate in music arts with an emphasis in composition) in music composition. Other than that a lot of music training in ensembles from middle school and high school, and music theory in high school.

Lots of listening to Music Scores and Classical Stuff. Then following the actual scores while they are being performed on stage (video recording). Really crazy. Then I started looking into great performers and realized I could do this.

Self taught everything. Never took a piano lesson, never took a violin lesson. Figured out how to sight read and write on demand.

I really need to get on all of that though. My clock is ticking.

Addendum:

I never knew hard until I discovered the Goldberg Variations.

Only training in piano here. I've gotten all my composing techniques from listening to scores and compiling tips I've read on the Internet, but I may begin to read some orchestration books.
