An Opportunity For Beginners Or Experts

Hello, everyone!

           First, let me begin by saying that composing/writing music seems like one of the most complicated things to do, and yet here you are, days, months, years into it, crafting music for hobby or career. For that, I applaud you.

           Second, a fairly large request. I am looking for talent; new or experienced, to compose songs for a potential animated series. Yes, potential. Let me explain.

           It's a lot to explain, though. Let me start by saying that I am an animator. Or, rather, i'm going to be. 3D animation is what I want to do in this world, and so I do it whenever I get the time. My plan is to make an animated series. Even if, along the way, I get hired to do animation for a company, I still plan on making this animated series. It's my dream, and I plan on doing it, no matter the hurdle.

           And there have been hurdles. There are still hurdles. Jobs steal time, sleep steals time, other interests steal time. But I always have some time to work on it, whether a little or a lot.

          Alright, here's the deal. Real talk, no fluffy words. I'm one guy trying to tackle an entire animated series solo, with no college experience on animating, and with not a lot of time to work on it. I can't pay you for any work you do now. It may take a year or two to even get the first episode out, let alone getting some voice actors.

          So why am I even here, trying to get help for something that could take so long to come to fruition? Because I recognize that music is important. Very important. It can change, shift, or even control the tempo and feel of a scene. It can help a scene, or even add something of it's own to a scene. In short, music is extremely powerful, and I have no musical talent at all.

          That's where you come in. New talent, old talent. First timer, expert. Composed songs, single instrument pieces. Anything that you feel comfortable with potentially showing to a large audience. I'm looking for:

Sad background music

Quick paced battle music

Desperate music (lives could end here kind of stuff)

Happy, upbeat music

General background music

Epic war battle music

And anything else that may fit!

The music that i'm going for is something with a video game / anime / movie feel to it. Music such as:

Angel Beats opening theme

Ori and the Blind Forest soundtrack

Mirai Nikki opening theme

Pretty much anything composed by Hans Zimmer

Child of Light soundtrack

And a few others

Now, this is a show. I need music for various scenes with various emotions. BUT! If you are confident in your abilities, and feel you can nail the "feel" of a character or even of the entire show, there are five extremely important songs that I need. I need a different main theme for each of our four main characters  (Willow, Echo, Krieger, and Experiment 217), and I need a main theme for the show. This is an understandably difficult task. Very difficult, in fact. If you need more information on the characters or the show in order to make these, PLEASE ASK!

I recognize that music takes a lot of time and effort to make. I assure you, you have plenty of time. I must emphasize that I will look at each and every piece of music sent to me. Everyone can make great music if they set their mind to it, and I will not discredit someone based on a lack of experience.
