bkho Posted May 12, 2016 Posted May 12, 2016 This is a piece for solo violin in a neo-baroque style. It's virtuosic in places but (I think) playable. Austenite Posted May 12, 2016 Posted May 12, 2016 Very nice work. I seriously doubt it's even playable by a solo violinist, since there are a lot of double stops in complicated spots, where you almost get the instrument to play poliphonically. Nevertheless, the music is there - it's an engaging work, with daring passages and a command of multiple voices that makes it stand out. Performance-wise, it warrants a double-check by a violinist (which I am not) - but musically, it's nothing short of a lovable piece. Thanks for sharing! Quote
