J. Lee Graham Posted May 12, 2016 Posted May 12, 2016 My first attempt at a concerto for solo instrument and orchestra, composed early in 2014 when I was living in Wichita, Kansas. Forasmuch as this piece is in Classical style, the principal horn part is designed to be playable on both natural and modern horn. The movements are as follows: Allegro un poco maestoso Andantino Allegro con brio Scores to the movements are attached. Sound files here: PDF Horn Concerto in E-flat - 1. punkitititi Posted May 19, 2016 Posted May 19, 2016 As always with you a very nice job with the concerto, its themes and the balance between orchestra and soloist. Maybe the slow movement is the less inspired of the group, but still an enjoyable page nonetheless! Thank you for sharing it with us. Quote
RequiemLord Posted June 17, 2016 Posted June 17, 2016 It has this unexplainable "pure" feeling to it, the same feeling i would get from listening to a Mozart piece. Quote
