KJthesleepdeprived Posted August 16, 2016 Posted August 16, 2016 Congratulations indeed, though am I the only one who feels remarkably outclassed on every side? Not that I expected anything less from you people. The entries are all really good.
Austenite Posted August 17, 2016 Posted August 17, 2016 Great job, friends! I might as well break my own unwritten rule about not commenting on fellow entrants pieces before the judges do - most of the works are really masterful, so there's no real need to keep quiet about that.
bkho Posted August 17, 2016 Posted August 17, 2016 I'm listening to all these entries at work and I'm seriously blown away. Not to sound trite but it is true, it will be very difficult for me to pick a "winner," you folks should all be proud to have such pieces of high quality to add to your already impressive oeuvres. 1
danishali903 Posted August 30, 2016 Author Posted August 30, 2016 Hello Everyone! Just an update regarding this competition. The judges are almost done with scoring and reviewing and the results will be posted this Friday! I will compile and post the scores/reviews in another thread (a link will be provided). In the meantime, keep an eye out for our fall competition guidelines, which I will be posting in the next few days! If anyone has any suggestions for future competitions, please let me know (or post them on the gazillion threads here). 3
luderart Posted September 1, 2016 Posted September 1, 2016 (edited) It seems that the single post with the links to all the entrants' submissions has missed the link to ChristianPerrotta's submission "Scottish Elegy": I hope that the judges did not rely on the above shortcut and considered his piece as an entry. Otherwise, there is still time for you to consider it. Here is the link: EDIT: Now I see, at 3:16 minutes, it probably didn't qualify. Sorry for the inconvenience!
