Sojar Voglar Posted June 3, 2016 Posted June 3, 2016 This is one of my chamber works created in 2003. It is mostly intimate and expressive, portraiting a flying angel with beautiful appearance. I was a bit influenced by Einojuhani Rautavaara, a Finnish composer who has written many works with Angel topics. :) The music is a mix of Impressionism and sort-of Romanticism. Denatura Sonorum Posted June 5, 2016 Posted June 5, 2016 It sounds well balanced and very cerebral, and that is precisely what I felt it could be a problem, if not intended. Although in its entirety it has an ethereal air, which make sense with the idea sugested by the title, it sounds a very cold piece where the melodies appear a litle bit too mechanic and the harmony doesn't give moments of suprise or engaging atmosphere.
