For Viola, Cello and Contrabass.

I like it. The choice of viola, cello and bass is risky, but expressive.

In bar 15 there's a tritone: C# + F#... I don't think it's bad, but in the context is dissonant.

Beautifully expressive. You use quite a lot more chromaticism than I had expected, and it is much appreciated.

As a little note, the bass part has two low Ds, which would require a C-extension to play. This is no big deal, but it could be an obstacle if you were ever interested in having real musicians perform this piece, as not many non-professional players would have acces to one. You may already know all this, I just thought I'd mention it in case it was important.
