Three Bagatelles

Hey guys! Here are three simple piano bagatelles I composed on three animals (as it was inspired to be played to my six-year-old piano student). I tried my best at recording it, even though I dislike doing so, as I want things to be perfect (this is the reason I don't upload my piano pieces quite often), but I hope you enjoy the pieces. Thanks!

The first, with its perkyness, seems to pop out from Rossini's hands

Thank you so much! I use Finale 2014, and what I like to do is create templates (which I spend a fair amount of time on) and get all the fonts and spacing in check, and that way it is far easier to get things consistent and neat.

Your 6 year-old student must be really good.  They don't seem that easy but I am not a pianist myself.

The themes among them seem similar so collectively, they struck me as an extended theme and variations.  I don't know if that was intentional or not.

Thanks! I had some ideas that were similar, so I thought I'd write a set, and they aren't for her to play, btw -- they are for her to listen to (with me playing). That'd be pretty crazy, lol.

These are all very nice. I especially like the Crane.

True that the first one is a bit rossinian (well, the rococó style).

The Crane: this is amazing, you have been able to write something so beautiful with chords and chords (I mean with verticality all the time). The arpeggiated part is great and makes the contrast, with the climax in m. 47. This is just my own opinion: I would have not repeated the arpeggio part immediately. I don't like literal repetitions... I would have let it for a final reexposition (perhaps abreviated).
