I kind of liked the sound of these three sketches clumped together into a suite so I did just that. The musical integrity (especially of the 2nd movement) isn't as necessarily as high as I would have liked before a copyright, but I was just too excited to not. I hope you all like it.

In the first movement, very nice how you introduce a countermelody towards the end to keep it from becoming too repetitious. The melody of the final movement is wonderful, especially when you judiciously add some close harmony in the accordion. The drum part is nice too. It's generally pretty subdued which I think adds to the relaxed feel of the music, the cymbals are used especially subtly for the most part. This is the first time I'm hearing you attempt a more jazzy sound.

No lie, listening to this suite has me craving a coffee by the river on a cool night.

Thanks for all your comments; very kind of you! I'm a pretty learned classical composer, if I do say so myself, but there was a lot of stuff I just wasn't familiar with... I figured these sketches are meant to practice so I went for it. I'm almost done with another Café Suite since I got really into practicing this style.

Also, about the coffee, glad I did my job alright, then! :)

Really love the lushness of the 3rd section. Interesting bass part with alternating measures (I'm counting 6/8) of fewer/more notes..  Great ending too..  I love the rhythm and feel of section 2 also,,,  Yes, the suite works well together.

I'm glad you think that! These were some of my favorites to write. I was going to post my other suite like this soon.
