Hi!

This is my first post here, I'm doing some soundtracks for a video games that classmates are doing, so I would love to have some feedbacks on it.

Thank you.

Road to Hell: It builds nicely. I don't know what's going on in the game here, but it's... a bit repetitive, no? An A major triad in the 1st inversion is cool because it masks it being major and makes it sound sinister, but I think you can still expand a little bit.
Map1: Really nice. Expands and contracts really well and balances well sound effects. Couple things: when you end on a leading tone (the F#) it's customary to resolve up to the tonic. You don't have to, but it sounds a bit forced here sometimes. Maybe go to the vi chord sometimes too! An E minor deceptive cadence would be really beautiful.
Map 1-2: Very dramatic map music, haha. Good changes in this one! Not much to say.
Map 3-2: Map or overworld music typically isn't so layered out into sections. Could be different for your game. If you plan on repeating this over and over, use the common looping trick to go back to a quieter section and throw in a wind chime.
Menu: The timbre of the main melody is strange to me, especially over the ostinato you have going under it. I think you can also grow in and out of the big to small to big sections.

Overall, great work! Your friends are lucky people!

Some real nice stuff you have here.

Road to Hell: I agree with Monarcheon that the build up is nice. As well, not sure where this track will fit into the game but if it's a stride into the darkness, then this fits well. If you were planning on looping this, I'm not sure how you be able to accomplish this when there is nothing that leads into the loop toward the end.

Map 1: Music means a lot when it comes to games. The percussion here really drives that sense of adventure. The melody was well crafted as well. The sound effects sound as if it has a lot of stereo in it which can really bring a piece to the front; percussion also has a stereo sound. The ending cuts off abruptly though so the loop there may need some work.

Map 1-2: As with the first map, this also gives me a great sense of adventure but also gives me a feeling that something suddenly has caught my attention that we need to focus on. That focus could be an issue that was revealed etc. That feeling of...ok everything is still bright but let's go check in on this thing here. The ending was done better here and sets itself up for a nice loop.

Map 3-2: The sense of urgency is really felt here and the storm effect really adds to that feeling. This sounds very western, kinda reminds me of Wild Arms. It sets the atmosphere in an inception kind of way whereas we know now that there is definitely an issue. The ending ends abruptly but here I think with a nice drum roll that could lead into the loop would be cool.

Menu: I'm assuming this to be the title screen? The build up is quite as it has that feeling that while it's building up the title of the game will slowly fade in and appear once the melody starts. It has a feeling that the game is gonna be epic and we're in for an unjustly surprise.

Overall, these have been some amazing works that just needs a bit of touch ups like the endings and loops. The music gives me a happy feeling, a sense of urgency, and a feeling of trouble over the horizon. I can't wait to hear more!
