Monarcheon Posted January 10, 2017 Posted January 10, 2017 1. Hard for a harp to play. 2. Passing and nonharmonic tone problems are over the place. 3. Sacrificing good melody accompaniment for counterpoint is never acceptable. It just needs to be focused. There's too much going on, almost. Quote
Opaqueambiguity Posted February 15, 2017 Posted February 15, 2017 (edited) Anytime I see an artist tell another artist something is unacceptable I think of some big name composer doing something innovative and the stuffy nobody remembered composer being the one complaining. Not that this seems to be what is going on. The harp difficulties can be overcome, but not easily. The drum track is sort of silly. Whole thing sounds sort of cheesy. Dynamically and texturally very flat and homogenous. You might want to try to include more contrast. Edited February 15, 2017 by Opaqueambiguity Quote
