Some Guy That writes Music Posted February 6, 2017 Posted February 6, 2017 (edited) I'm learning simple things as I've been going along, any suggestions, or is this too short to go off of? I'm really interested in music but haven't gotten a great place to learn, everything simple to complex is greatly appreciated. Monarcheon Posted February 7, 2017 Posted February 7, 2017 A lot of focus on the tonic (I chord), maybe branch off a little bit more? I find that the more places you plan to go, the longer the piece becomes simply by proxy of that knowledge. It sounds like a solid opening to an exposition of something that could be expanded on in and of itself, but if you think about where you want to end up, you'll find a way to get there. :) Quote
Anthony Johnson Posted February 7, 2017 Posted February 7, 2017 You have some interesting parts but it does seem like I am forced to focus more on the I chord. Branching off can really bring out that emotion between the viola and piano. Quote
