I am not sure in which category I should put this.

I feel the style of the music could maybe considered contemporary, but some of the instruments are not classical.

This is a very experimental piece with many dissonances and strange rhythms.

I think it is the only one of its kind of the compositions I have made. I have made a slightly experimental piece before, but in that piece

I played around with the Pitchbend, which I did´nt in this piece.

I happen to like this piece, but it may be a piece that only the creator likes, since it is very dissonant in places.

I don´t know if it would be enjoyable for others than me. :-)

You know to me this has a very 1990s video game feel like Super Mario lol. It seemingly jumps all over the place, which if that was intentional then that is understandable. 

Are there a few clashes as well? I can't really seem to tell. Great use of the instruments as you seem to make them work together well.

I would rate like a 5,5 (0-10) There were good melodic themes but I dont know how they fit with the rest of the music. Also you abruptly changed chords to one note severall times which annoyed me so much Maybe with less dissonances and strange rhytms choices this could be a game music!

There are clashes in this. There is a painful one at 1:54.

This is actually an old windows 95 midifile converted to mp3-format.

So you were somewhat right of the oldschool sound. :-)

You may be right about the dissonances, but I personally like the strange rhytms towards the end.

Anyway I don´t feel like changing this one. It is my little freaky One-of-a-kind composition.

Hello Kim,

In first place, thank you for letting me know about this piece. 
It sounds interesting and I appreciate that you experiment with 'genres' that aren't your favourite ones.
To be honest, the music sounds pretty weird and unlogical to me. I don't know why, but it may have to do with the following points.

Dissonance isn't bad. Consonance isn't bad either. However, only dissonances and no consonances (and vice versa) can be a problem.
The trick is to keep a fine balance between dissonance and consonance. In my opinion you have a nice balance in dissonance - consonance.

The problem with the 'unlogical' feeling it gives to me could be the rhythms and melodies.
You referred in my Symphony No.4 ''Randstad,'' which uses Mosaic Form, to this piece by you. I agree that your composition and my symphony have something in common considering experimenting with dissonance and consonance. The difference is that my piece has a sort of form with themes that can return and thereby support the coherency of the symphony - at least, according to the comments.

I think (most of) the melodies and rhythms are good, but the audience doesn't have a guidance through the piece (for example theme A that returns several times). You could solve this problem by using Mosaic Form. I would recommend to study the material I have posted in the Symphony No.4 topic. After that you can experiment with this form.
