lwazinkiwane Posted March 15, 2017 Posted March 15, 2017 (edited) Dear all, I'm looking for a composer to compose the 90 minute film score-styled classical jazz symphony with a slow opening and ending entitled 'City Lights' for solo trumpet, solo piano, jazz big band and full symphony orchestra of strings, woodwinds, brass, synthesizers, harp and percussion. This symphony is dedicated to the memory of Miles Davis and Dave Brubeck. This piece will be recorded first in LA then performed it as a concert piece in entirely. It needs to be done by the beginning of July 2017 so that I can listen to it in demo form. If it's good then I would like you to book these musicians in Los Angeles for a recording session etc. The concert performance will be held at Royal Albert Hall in London around January 2018 in the evening. Orchestra, conductor and group of soloists will be announced at the later date. Contact me if you are interested in writing this classical jazz piece. Thank you and I'm looking forward to hear from you. Lwazi Edited March 15, 2017 by lwazinkiwane date of completion Quote
