Ken320 Posted April 16, 2017 Posted April 16, 2017 It's OK. Given the simple chord progression you need to do more in terms of dynamics and mix of the instruments to make it more interesting. Though it has a certain Mystery Science Theater 3000 charm about it. Quote
Gustav Johnson Posted May 26, 2017 Posted May 26, 2017 Sounds like soundtrack material for History channel's show, "Ancient Aliens" The harmonic movement, melodic development, and stylistic moments are all effective. I'd agree that some dynamic contrast could do a lot in terms of highlighting these moments for you. Think about how you can influence the volumes similar to how a live ensemble would shape their dynamics. That would lend a lot of energy to this piece, I think. Cool work! Gustav Johnson Quote
Juan José Posted June 30, 2017 Posted June 30, 2017 Even though you probably already know him, you might find Vangelis´ music very helpful as reference for you own projects, as I find resemblance to his music in your piece. He is actually one of my favorite composers! :) Take a look here: Quote
Advertise-Play Posted September 23, 2017 Posted September 23, 2017 Seems pretty solid on average! Quote
