I have 3 battle tracks that I composed myself, called Battle with the Hero, Paladin, and Dark Knight. The loop just simply comes back to the start. This is based on 3 character subclasses of the Warrior class in the MMORPG MapleStory.

Description: Hero's attacks have a fiery rage inside them, notably the Raging Blow attack as a main attack. Paladin's attacks are diverse in elements, using fire, ice, lightning, and holy light (the most notable element). Dark Knight's spear/pole arm has some darkness inside the weapon.

Hero Battle: In the "melody" section, the accompaniment, be it in violin or trumpets really don't match the melody harmonically. I also expected the end part to be a four bar phrase back into the beginning... I guess the percussion section at the end was kind of a letdown for me considering the great energy from the rest of the movement.

Dark Knight Battle: Your B diminished triad clashes pretty violently with the pedal tonic. Normally this wouldn't be a problem, but I suggest you make it a V chord and add a G in there to make it a dominant chord. The electric guitar solo was cool...! I just wished it went for a longer period.

Paladin: Whatever pitched percussion instrument you have going in there in the beginning is really kind of strange... maybe glock would work a little better. Bells, perhaps on off beats. This has a great use of chords and progression.

All of these feel a little stilted at the end... it's a little unsatisfying. Even if they do loop, it wouldn't be the smoothest of transitions. They sound great though! Lots of energy! :) Good job.

Well, it was meant to be a G7b9 chord.

I thought I was using glockenspiels. And, if you're talking about bells, are you talking about the tubular bells?

Hm... maybe I just couldn't hear the tonic. It could have also been partly due to the 1st inversion that chord is in. Regardless, I see it's harmonic function in the grand scheme of things.

It's just sounded like a bit of an odd timbre for glockenspiels in this recording. It just has a bit of a weir timbral dropoff. I'm sure it would be better played.
And no, I meant literal bells. Just things in that register.

@Monarcheon Oh well, haha. So I made my glockenspiel timbre a bit on the mellow but clean side. You say that's what you want more of?

Well, I thought it matches the melody harmonically because they fit the chord changes really well in my opinion....

To me, they fit until they reach a part where the melody and the accompaniment reaches a major seventh, ninth, second, etc. It's not my job to tell you to change it, just to make sure your choices are made with conviction.
