Oliver Nosaczynski Bohovič Posted June 11, 2017 Posted June 11, 2017 Hi everyone! This is a kind of a minimalist piano piece of mine. It§ s called "Rain" because of the free form and due to the fact that except for the recurring theme, it is heavily improvised and it is supposed to remind of raindrops. I hope you will like it! Monarcheon Posted June 14, 2017 Posted June 14, 2017 I did something very much like this years ago. You pulled it off much better Move out of Mixolydian and Dorian in the beginning and the ending a little more. I think you'll find that polyscale pieces work with pieces within short spans of time as opposed to the sectionalized version you have here. I just say this since the repetition started getting to me even before you went into the Lydian section, especially after since it felt overdone. It's very well harmonized and serene. Good job! Quote
