All in all, very emotive. I think changing up the texture a bit towards the end might make it a tad more interesting (perhaps rising lower strings?) All in all, not bad. Would love to see a score for a more thorough review.

Nice!

I echo Jawoodruff's feedback about alteration towards the end of the piece. There is no actual climax, which I would have loved to see (or actually hear). Furthermore, there is not much real melody to be discovered. It rather consists of chords. A tragic melody above these chords could solve the static atmosphere due to static chords. Then, the music becomes more interesting.

What is the reason why you composed this music? What do you want to say with the music? Tell me more about it. The title does not indicate much except the tempo (and some expression) and the ensemble. In my opinion, (classical) music becomes a lot more interesting when you know the creation process and the story of it.

Nice sound for digital instruments, by the way!

C# minor is an interesting key to work with because it reaches the low points of cellos and perhaps the trombones with good enough skill, but the other instruments have a hard time playing the tonics, like basses, tuba, and contrabassoons. It sounds like the kind of cinematic pieces to want to have the tonic emphasized in a sort of climactic or enigmatic way, but it's not as impactful in that sense, but works well enough with what you have here.
I think it needs more motion. The melody is technically present with the descent (melody is cool, but if a slow one is supported well, it's not the most important), but I don't get the sense that it was pushing. In that way, it seems like this was intended as a sort of funeral march where your low tones use an ostinato, but not much else moves around to support the chords themselves, thus sounding a little bit empty. Literally, we just hear notes at that point, rather than an emotive style.

Monarcheon formulates much better what this music lacks than me. The melody does not have a direction and it did not do anything emotional to me to be honest.

Thank you for all your reviews! It was intended to be a slow introduction for a symphonic movement. So may be I should call it a fragment. The melody is intended to be simple, so the computer can create a more "realistic sound". Actually there is something missing, because it points to a new section, that I have sketched but a lost interest to work it out. So I am not sure what to with it this piece! May be a solo violin could fit! Just as a diminution of the main melody the orchestra plays.
