Charlie Carroll Posted August 5, 2017 Posted August 5, 2017 (edited) Hey guys. This is one of my first pieces that I can see really turning into something I like, but I've run myself into a corner. I'd like to see what you think and I would love it if you had any suggestions regarding how to continue the piece. Thanks! Alright, it took some messing around, but I finally figured out how to make my file into an mp3. I hope this one works. fishyfry Posted August 6, 2017 Posted August 6, 2017 Hi Charlie. I think there may be some kind of problem with your upload. When I attempt to download it, I get an error message saying "We could not locate the item you are trying to view" Quote
Monarcheon Posted August 11, 2017 Posted August 11, 2017 Same problem here. Any scores or audio that we can use? Quote
Charlie Carroll Posted August 11, 2017 Author Posted August 11, 2017 I hope the new file works for you guys. Thanks lots. Quote
Maarten Bauer Posted August 13, 2017 Posted August 13, 2017 The first part sounds like the soundtrack of a popular film, of which I do nlt know the name at the moment. I like the harmonies. The second part is a huge contrast with the first part. Maybe too big? I don't know. . . I like this part as well. Its vivid, exciting atmosphere is nice. When you have run yourself into a corner, stop writing for this piece until you have inspiration again. You could try to develop some themes and motives. Providing feedback without a score is pretty hard, but I have tried my best. Quote
Fernando Ocegueda Posted September 2, 2017 Posted September 2, 2017 First, i really like the vibe in general of your composition, i don´t know why it remembered me a bit of star wars i don´t know if it was just me haha I feel like there is something missing between the first and second part so that those two parts can really get along well, because it feels like a very rough range I also feel the pattern that goes from 1:12 to 1:25 repeats maybe a little too much?... Anyways great work! I think it has a lot of potential! Quote
