Hello,

I don't know if this happens to other members as well, but I cannot see the MP3 and PDF feature in topics.
To be more clear: I cannot see the attached files of the audio and scores that are normally shown in a sort of box.

How can I solve this problem?

Thanks,

Maarten

same here.   Yesterday I couldn't upload using YC software.  I placed links to soundcloud, and box. and that displays correctly...  I then checked other members posts.

I sent a message to Admins, but should have looked here first.  So I assume they are now aware of it.

confirmed.. everything seems back to normal.. I can hear mp3, and see pdf.. However on Safari 10.1.2  (newest version)

the progress bar does not move.  Hence I cannot tell how far into the piece the music is played. it just stays at 0.  However the music does play.  This has been the case for a while (I think you changed the player a while back, or perhaps it was with a version update of Safari..

Firefox 54.0.1 (current version)  works properly at YoungComposers.

The player is buggy with certain browsers I think.  But I am not sure if there is a player out there that can work with all browsers.  If the mp3 can't play, please try on firefox if you have the means to do so.  If it still doesn't play, this could be a problem isolated to your computer.  Maybe try clearing out cache, or restarting your PC.

This issue should now be resolved.  Can you all please confirm?  Sorry about that!

Thank you very much!

There is, however, another problem with the mp3. The following picture shows how the audio and PDF file box is shown:Knipsel.JPG

How can I fix this and do other members have this problem as well?

Uh oh, this indicates your browser can't handle html5.  And I thought that this defaulted to flash, but this proves that it doesn't.  Is your browser up to date?  I might have to eventually just use a flash player only if this remains a problem for some people.  But I'm still not sure if flash is the way of the future, it doesn't seem to be...

This happened to me multiple times, however when specific users post. In other words, an attachment can appear perfectly fine while another one in the same post posted by a different user would appear as in the picture. How can this be explained?

Exactly! This issue only occurs when certain people post something, but it is pretty annoying.

I have just updated my browser and the problem is still there.

Just a note in case of anyone unaware..  Be leery of any website, telling you that Flash needs to be updated, and then gives a link.  The linked site may look very real, but this version of Flash, MAY have malware/tracking software in it.  Instead, quit your browser, re-open, google Adobe Flash, and go to Adobe that way..

The problem was solved with all posts before yesterday. All PDF and MP3 boxes posted before yesterday are shown as normal, but now the issue occurs again with all newly posted files. This time it is very extreme (I zoomed out, otherwise the entire post was not visible):
