Jeremiah Hong Posted August 5, 2006 Posted August 5, 2006 Now that the Film Competition is over, why not start another one? How about a Sonata Competition, or perhaps a Minuet Competition? eh? Quote
Will Kirk Posted August 5, 2006 Posted August 5, 2006 Maybe you could consider choosing something not so common? Maybe a Scherzo competition, just an idea, I think a lesser used form of music would make for an interesting competition Quote
Calehay Posted August 5, 2006 Posted August 5, 2006 Someone was very, very adamant about a video game competition, so I think that should be the next one. It already had people who would have been interested in entering, and I think Nicktoven kind of hinted in his respones that that would be the next competition. I personally think that a video game competition would be very challenging if we were restricted to emulate SNES technology (or even more challenging NES technology.) I mean, you can make a huge sweeping orchestral idea when you have that available, but what about trying to create the same effect with a much more restricted voices? I don't know, it intrigues me. The only thing about this one is that SNES music and sound production would have to be studied before it began. Quote
Guest Brandon Homayouni Posted August 5, 2006 Posted August 5, 2006 Awesome. I'd love to participate in a video game music competition. Is there a specific video game? Quote
Tumababa Posted August 8, 2006 Posted August 8, 2006 Ugh.... I was hoping for a choral competition. Quote
