Andrew Ambient Posted September 14, 2017 Posted September 14, 2017 Hi to everyone! I'm back with a new piano & strings composition! The title is "the magic white and pink rose". I accept productive comments on my composition. I hope you like it. Quote
Monarcheon Posted September 15, 2017 Posted September 15, 2017 Use of 5/4 is interesting, I like that. 0:34, D major triad with minor third in the melody sounds awkward, but not actually that bad (can't tell if it's a mistake), but I don't know if that's what you intended, since ambient music normally subscribes to more functional harmony. The inversions once the low tone enters the picture are a little weird. This could probably be fixed by making its presence a little less obvious. Like a second inversion chord on a VI chord is kind of awkward. High piano notes around 1:45 are a little too loud. Last chord suffers from the same thing in my second point. Just checking to make sure it's what you want. Quote

I hope you glad to be listen it whereas if you don't like it I will improve then. Thanks for your constructive comments! :) Quote
Luis Hernández Posted September 24, 2017 Posted September 24, 2017 I find it beautiful and inspiring. Quote
Maarten Bauer Posted September 24, 2017 Posted September 24, 2017 Lovely piece and picture. Both melody and accompaniment are very simple, yet powerful. Ben fatto! Quote
