Maarten Bauer Posted September 26, 2017 Posted September 26, 2017 Hello, I composed this little piece in response to a challenge on the forum to write for a combination of two instruments based on your birthday date. At the same time, I used this piece for an exercise, I gave myself: write a piece in less than 15 minutes. My combination was the Violin and the Horn (in F). I tried to keep the atmosphere very light, yet interesting. The music has to be funny, because it is a 'birthday song,' so therefore the Allegro scherzando and no very heavy harmonies. Sharing your thoughts is very appreciated! Luis Hernández Posted September 26, 2017 Posted September 26, 2017 O, is a little nice piece. Yes, light and interesting. And good work with the harmonics ... I prefer this style (of yours) than the "classical". But everything is music... Quote

Do you mean with classical the style of the piano concerto or any other pieces? Quote
Luis Hernández Posted September 27, 2017 Posted September 27, 2017 @Maarten Bauer The piano concerto is nice. It has a classical flavor but you incorporate many modern elements. Quote
